This film is our first project as Big Shoe Productions and we couldn't be more proud about how it turned out!

UNPLUGGED is a short, not for profit documentary exploring the dire situation Glasgow's iconic independent music venues find themselves in since lockdown in March.

Venue owners gave us an insight into the difficulties they faced from when lockdown first began and expressed their hope for live music to return as soon as possible. Vic Galloway and KT Tunstall passionately highlight the importance of music in people's lives and remind us why we love going to gigs.

Music is an integral part of Scotland and Glasgow is at the heart of it.

Filmed with no budget over three months, during lockdown.
